How do Sonatech open-ear headphones work?
They rest on your cheekbone, just in front of your ear, and send sound through gentle bone-conduction vibration — so you hear your audio clearly while your ear canal stays completely open. Nothing goes inside your ears.
Will they stay put when I run or work out?
Yes. The lightweight band wraps behind your head, so they're designed to stay secure through runs, rides and workouts without pressing into your ears. The water resistance rating is IPX8.
Can I still hear what's going on around me?
That's the whole point of open-ear. Because your ears aren't plugged, you stay aware of traffic, conversations and everything around you while you listen — ideal for running outdoors, cycling or keeping an ear out at home.
Can other people hear my music?
At normal listening volumes they're very discreet and the people around you won't really notice. Like any open-ear design, a little sound can escape at high volume, so in a silent room someone right beside you might catch a faint hint — easily fixed by dropping the volume a notch.
Are they comfortable for long wear — even with glasses?
Very. Because nothing sits inside your ear canal, there's no pressure, no plugged-up feeling and no soreness after an hour. The band rests behind your head and above your ears, so they sit comfortably alongside glasses and sunglasses.
How long does the battery last and how do they charge?
A full charge gives you around 10 Hours of playback, and they recharge via magnetic cable in about 2 Hours.
